Summer Updates

If you haven't heard, we are looking into apossible building change for our fall classes. Due to a shift in availability of our prior location and the addition of 20 new families! As we wait for approval info on both here is the latest, keeping everybody in the loop:

Our 2 current location possibilities are East Berlin Community Center & McSherrystown Senior Center. We have also inquiries with New Oxford Borough bldg, although their space is limited. We are staying with secular options within the surrounding Hanover area.

Each has their pros & cons. All are cheaper than any other formal lease option. I know some families may like one location over another, and perhaps we'd even do both! We had a great meeting today with lots of potential. As well, 5 other parents have offered to run new classes to expand our schedule. Thank you for being part of the solution!

Unfortunately, until both boroughs come to some decisions, we are still on hold with our schedule and registration process. I know I keep saying 2 more weeks... but good things come with patience. And we have sown some beautiful seeds!

In the meantime, I'm meeting with new teachers, all teachers are in next stage of planning their classes, and everyone's names are still in place on rosters and waitlists. Our intent is to make room for everyone and speak with each family to find the best fit in doing so. We've got so many fantastic options!! I feel certain this is going to bloom into an amazing fall semester!

Right now:

- if anyone has some possible leads on tables/chairs please investigate, we may need. Or the old style Student chair-desks. To borrow or purchase.

- if anyone has connections in local businesses that might like to share their space for a fee (on a Monday when they're closed), please investigate, we may find a better option!

- if anyone would like to offer a class for pay, at the elementary or middle school level, I'm happy to list your possible class and see if that is a need once we flesh out details.

- if anyone has made other plans already, or just cannot wait for a decision, and decides to cancel their registration, please message me. We'd be sorry to see you go!

Hang in there folks! No one wants to see this work out more than me. And you know what they say, the best laid plans have bumps, but great things come from hard work and patience!
